Uncured printing resin can be hazardous to human health. Treat and dispose of all uncured resin as hazardous material. There is a waste bin near the printer for all materials that have been in contact with resin.
ALWAYS wear the following Personal Protective Equipment when handling uncured resin:
- Safety glasses or goggles
- Face mask
Carefully remove the build platform and drain any uncured resin into the vat.
If floating cured resin is left in the resin tank, carefully strain unused resin from the vat back into the storage bottle over the wash sink. Make sure the bottle cap is securely screwed back on and there is no uncured resin on the outside of the bottle then place back in the storage drawer.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THE VAT TO NOT DAMAGE THE SILICONE NON-STICK LAYER.
Damaging the non-stick layer will ruin the vat and you will be responsible for replacement costs.
Rinse the vat with warm water and soap. Never use alcohol to clean the vat as it will degrade the plastic.
After washing place the vat on the drying rack. Do not attempt to dry the non-stick layer with paper towels.
Wash the funnel and screen and place on the drying rack.
ALWAYS clean up all resin spills and leave absolutely no uncured resin where other members may come into contact with it.
